SUMMER CAMPS – 2012

HIP HOP DANCE CAMP

Friday June 29th from 5:30-8:00pm

Saturday June 30^th from 9:30am-1:00pm

Ages 5+ (Students will be divided into age groups, if necessary upon arrival)                                                                           

At this 2-day camp we will learn a fun hip hop dance combination, learn a little history about hip hop and it’s culture, have arts & crafts, as well as games that are hip hop related. Food and refreshments are provided.

MID- SUMMER DANCE CAMP

Friday July 13^th from 5:30-8:00

Saturday July 14^th from 9:30am-1:00pm

Ages 3+ (Students will be divided by age groups, if necessary upon arrival)

At this 2-day camp students will do dance related Arts and Crafts, learn a dance combination, and play games, Food and refreshments are also provided.

 Family & friends will be invited on the last day of camp to see a mini-performance!

Our 1st recital will be held at the Montoursville High School,  Saturday May 12th, 2012, with a show at 2:00pm and another at 4:30pm.

Our 2nd recital will be held at the Community Arts Center on Sunday June 3rd, 2012 at 2:00pm.

All tickets can be purchased through the Community Arts Center Box Office, beginning Friday April 20th, 2012.

The Katie Benson School of Dance won 1st place for our dance in the Mummer’s Parade. Congratulations to all dancers, float riders, and helpers!!!

For the third consecutive year look for us in the annual Little League Grand Slam Parade! The parade starts at 6pm Thursday August 19th on Grier Street in Williamsport’s West End. It then procedes East on 4th Street up Millionare’s Row into downtown. A tape delayed broadcast of the parade will start at 7pm on WVIA TV 44. Check back for pictures and news of our performance as  over 50 of our dancers will be participating!
